HSWA s23–25 + s56 notifiable events, never missed.

Death, notifiable injury or illness, and notifiable incidents have to be reported to WorkSafe NZ as soon as practicable. Site preservation under s55 applies. The platform handles the workflow so you don't have to remember which is which at 6am.

Site preservation under s55

For notifiable events, s55 requires the site to be preserved until WorkSafe says otherwise. The procedure activates a site-preservation checklist and notifies the right people.

"As soon as practicable" alerting

WorkSafe expects notification as soon as practicable. The platform escalates after 60 minutes if the notification has not been submitted, so it never slips past a Friday afternoon.

WorkSafe NZ submission record

Capture the WorkSafe NZ reference number, contact name and submission timestamp on the incident. Evidence stays with the record for the life of the org.

Officer s44 notification

Officers are notified of every notifiable event for s44 due-diligence purposes. Acknowledgement is logged.

Documents the post-event response
