Platform pillar

Incident response that closes the loop.

Incident capture, ICAM investigation, NCR/CAPA register and Critical Incident Response (EAP activation, debrief, RTW handover) — purpose-built so the same event never happens twice.

In short

From near-miss capture to ICAM root-cause analysis to corrective and preventive actions, RAE IQ closes the loop on every incident. Critical incidents trigger EAP activation, peer support and structured debriefs; RTW takes over for injury management.

Frequently asked questions

What is ICAM and when should I use it?

ICAM (Incident Cause Analysis Method) is a structured root-cause analysis methodology widely used in Australian mining, construction and resources. It walks the investigator through absent/failed defences, individual/team actions, task/environmental conditions, and organisational factors. Use it for any significant incident — usually anything more serious than 'minor first aid'.

How does Critical Incident Response differ from a normal incident?

A critical incident is one that has serious psychosocial impact on workers — a fatality, serious injury, armed robbery, suicide, severe aggression. RAE IQ activates EAP with a timestamp, assigns peer support, runs a structured debrief (CISD, CISM, PFA, Defusing or Informal), and tracks return-to-work follow-up. This is a Business-tier module aligned to SDA s.47C and ISO 45003.
