Frequently asked questions

What is the "positive duty" and why does it matter now?

Under SDA s.47C and the new psychosocial WHS / HSWA duties, PCBUs and employers now have a positive duty to proactively prevent harm — not just respond after it happens. That changes the bar from "we have an EAP" to "we have controls, evidence and a programme". RAE IQ's Mental Health module is built around that positive-duty framing.

How does Mental Health First Aider tracking work?

You register each MHFA with their certification date and expiry. The daily cron sweeps active MHFAs at 30 and 14 days before expiry and on the expiry date, sending notifications and flagging the certification as lapsed. Renewal resets the alert flags.
