Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

RAE IQ is operated by RAE Safety Pty Ltd (ABN pending), an Australian company. We provide an AI-powered workplace health, safety, and environment compliance platform for Australian SMEs (“the Platform”).

This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the Platform, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What we collect

• Account information: name, email address, organisation name, ABN.
• Workplace safety data you enter: documents, incidents, chemical registers, training records.
• Psychosocial survey responses: collected anonymously; individual responses are not linked to identifiable workers.
• Usage data: page views, feature usage, AI generation requests (no message content is logged beyond what is necessary for billing).
• Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

3. AI subprocessors

The Platform uses Anthropic Claude (via the Anthropic API) to generate documents and analyse survey data. Input data sent to Anthropic is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Free-text survey responses are redacted of personal identifiers before being sent to Anthropic.

4. How we use your data

• Providing and improving the Platform.
• Generating AI-powered safety documents and reports on your behalf.
• Sending transactional emails (account alerts, expiry reminders).
• Complying with our legal obligations under Australian law.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted on AWS in the ap-southeast-2 (Sydney) region. We use row-level security, TLS in transit, and AES-256 encryption at rest. Access is limited to authorised personnel.

6. Psychosocial survey anonymity

Worker survey responses are collected without any identifying token. The platform enforces minimum-respondent thresholds (5 responses for any result to be shown; 10 responses for subgroup breakdowns) to protect respondent anonymity. Free-text responses are PII-redacted before AI analysis.

7. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct, and in some cases delete your personal information. Contact us at privacy@raeiq.com.au to exercise these rights. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account cancellation, you have 30 days to export your data. After 30 days, data is securely deleted except where retention is required by law.

9. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
