What is an Audit-Ready Evidence Pack in RAE IQ?
Short answer
An Audit-Ready Evidence Pack is a one-click, clause-mapped ZIP export plus a public "Audit Room" link that RAE IQ generates from a frozen JSONB snapshot of the organisation's data at export time. It collapses what used to be weeks of audit prep into a single export, with full reproducibility for coroner-grade evidence.
Audit-Ready Evidence Pack is a RAE IQ feature (Business tier) designed to compress audit preparation into a single export. It addresses the situation where a regulator, auditor, board or coroner asks "show me how you managed [X] over [time period]" and the organisation needs to assemble evidence in days, not months.
How it works:
- Scope β you choose a standard (ISO 45001, ISO 45003, Combined, or AU State WHS Act), a date range and which modules to include (incidents, audits, CAPA, training, plant, etc.).
- Capture snapshot β the system writes a frozen JSONB snapshot of every relevant row across all included modules. From this moment on, the pack is reproducible at any future date.
- Generate clause map β a curated clause-to-evidence map decides what evidence proves what clause. Configurable per standard.
- Apply PHI redaction β three modes: aggregate (counts only), de-identified (worker codes), full (opt-in). Logged per export.
- Build PDFs β cover page, executive summary, clause-by-clause findings, manifest.
- Bundle source documents β PDFs of every controlled document referenced.
- ZIP it up β upload to a private storage bucket and issue a signed URL.
- Issue an Audit Room token β a public, time-bound URL the external auditor can use without logging in. Reads from the same snapshot as the ZIP, so they never diverge.
The audit room logs every open with timestamp and IP. Both the ZIP and the audit room can be revoked.
Outputs satisfy regulator expectations across:
- ISO 45001 cl. 7.5 Documented information
- ISO 45001 cl. 9.2 Internal audit (as evidence for external audit)
- WHS Act s.275 General defence ("took all reasonable steps")
- Coroner / class-action document discovery
This is feature #51 from RAE IQ's roadmap.
